Hi Yoni,

That's a good question. On my camera (and most SLRs) there is a bracketing mode where you can set the camera to adjust the shutter speed (or the aperture, depending on what shooting mode your in, but in aperture-priority mode it adjusts the shutter speed) for successive shots. You can specify how much to adjust by in stops, and also the order in which to take the shots. Putting the camera in CH mode (Continuous Highspeed) I can then take 5 exposures at 5 or 6 frames per second. I can go a step further using interval-time-based shooting (another menu option) and get all 5 shots to fire from just one press of the shutter. I presume Canon, Sony and other cameras (at least SLRs) have much the same features. The first is typically called auto-bracketing and saves you having to manually adjust exposures between shots in this type of scenario.

Hope that's helpful.

Hi Ronan,

In today's post you mentioned you "...relied on a steady hand, a rapid burst of images,..."

I was wondering how you got a rapid burst of images each with different shutter speeds.

Thanks,
Yoni.
